As a business owner or professional, it's essential to have good communication skills. But, isn't every situation different. What may work for one person may not for another.

I recently read a book "How to talk to anyone..." by Leil Lowndes. It teaches you 92 tricks for big success in relationships. One example really stood out for me... How to Look Like a Big Winner Wherever You Go.
As a business owner, this was soooo important to me. Your image is everything. It portrays who you are, it says I'm confident and a professional. We must all act like this if we plan on being a leader.
Have you ever heard of the phrase, "Fake it until you make it." If feel you're not a leader or a winner then you better start acting like one. Fake it until you make it means, act like a leader then you will become a leader. Try it out and see if it works for you. It has for me.
The traditional way of communicating still works, but if you haven't read or taken any classes about effective communication, your chances are you aren't effectively communicating. Besides, how do we really know unless someone tells us. So why not learn how to be effective and confident. Be portrayed as a leader.
Learn how to talk to anyone and see your confidence and business slowly build. The next time you're in the library or bookstore check out Leil Lowndes' book in the self-help section. I hope it helps you like it has helped me.

yep faking it does work. After you fake it enough so much, you become comfortable and you end up becoming that great communicator. Another good thing to add is to be a good listener.
